Yes, Seraf enables you to record and track investments in Funds. You can record the fund name, type of fund, industry focus, size, description, key contacts, and more. You can also record your Capital Commitments, Capital Calls and Distributions of Cash and/or Stock, which will be incorporated into your overall investment portfolio as well as the valuable Portfolio Analysis tables and charts.
To enter a Fund:
- Go to the Fund tab in Portfolio Management.
- Select “Add Fund”.
- Enter the relevant information. Not all fields are required.
- Save your record by scrolling to the end of the fund page and selecting “Save”.
Note that you can also use the orange “Add New…” button on the left side menu bar from any page in your account to quickly add context-sensitive entries.
Once you add a fund, be sure to add the corresponding fund transaction(s).
