What are the Document Visibility settings?

Document Visibility options vary by your Seraf account level. When uploading or editing documents for storage in Documents & Reports, you can select the Document Visibility, or privacy, appropriate for each document, such that the document is made available only to those who should have access. The options include:
  • Private - only visible to the account holder.
  • Private to the selected investor and administrators - visible to the account holder and, when part of an investment group or fund, the group's administrators.
  • All members of investor group or fund - visible to the account holder and, when part of an investment group or fund, all investors in the group or fund.
  • All investors in the entity - visible to the account holder and, when part of an investment group or fund, all investors in the group or fund who invested in the specified entity (company or fund).

Note that Enterprise Accounts and those of their members have Documents and Reports split apart as two separate menu items.
